‘A Different Me’ diva Keyshia Cole has sent fans into a frenzy with the announcement that the follow-up to 2010’s ‘Calling All Hearts’ is due in early 2012:

With a movie and reality show in the works, fans should expect to see alot of Cole in the coming months.  And, in related news, the songstress also recently took to Twitter to reveal desires to duet with fellow R&B beauty Brandy and assure fans that the 2012 album with be ‘nothing like’ its predecessor.

Given its dismal performance on the charts, we’re sure fans and labels alike are hoping such is true in more ways than one .

The complete video is finally here! Check out the video for Tyrese‘s newest single, “Stay” off of his upcoming album Open Invitation, which hits stores November 1, 2011. The Matt Alonzo-directed video also features his former Baby Boy co-star, Taraji P. Henson.

Tyrese also released this letter with the video, read below:

Dear Media outlets, blogs and online supporters…

Heres my “OPEN INVITATION” to you. My everything was put into this album coming November 1st. It was you who inspired me to get back in the studio and do it again. As you’ve seen from my movies -Tranformers DOTM- & -Fast Five- that have both now grossed over $ 1.7 Billion worldwide. Also I can’t tell you how much it means to me that you all went out to support my now NY Times Best Selling Book “How To Get Out Of Your Own Way” to many other great things over the last few years, the man above has been expanding my territories into many different amazing things. But rest assured, that my FIRST and ONLY LOVE is still MUSIC. I’ve read your letters, tweets, Facebook, MySpace and emails. I’ve listened to your voice mails and more importantly, I’ve run into you in person and you’ve all wanted me to do it again So come 11.1.11 my new album. “OPEN INVITATION” will be launched globally for you to listen and feel my heart & soul that I put into the album…

On this album I wanted to give you an “Open Invitation” to the clubs and the bedroom.

Here’s the world premiere of my video “Stay” featuring one of my best friends 2 time academy award nominee Taraji P Henson. We had so much fun working on this.. It’s been 10 years since we both made our debut on the big screen in the now cult classic Baby Boy and now we’re getting our grown and sexy on in this “Stay” video..

Respectfully,

President and CEO of Voltron Recordz

On Tuesday (September 20), the Georgia Board of Pardons and Parole announced that it had, for a second time, denied clemency for Troy Davis, who is scheduled to be executed Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Jackson, Georgia.

As we mentioned in our previous post, Davis has maintained his innocence in the 1991 murder of officer Mark MacPhail, and seven of the nine witnesses have recanted their previous testimonies. In addition, numerous individuals, including international figures such as Pope Benedict XVI, Bishop Desmond Tutu and former President Jimmy Carter, have pursued exoneration for Davis.

But millions of petitions were not enough for the parole board who issued a statement Tuesday announcing it had “met on Monday to consider a clemency request from attorneys representing condemned inmate Troy Anthony Davis. After considering the request, the Board has voted to deny clemency.

Amnesty International issued a statement following the Board’s:

>It is unconscionable that the Georgia Board of Pardons and Paroles has denied relief to Troy Davis. Allowing a man to be sent to death under an enormous cloud of doubt about his guilt is an outrageous affront to justice. Should Troy Davis be executed, Georgia may well have executed an innocent man and in doing so discredited the justice system.

With only hours possibly remaining, the organization is CALLING ON EVERYONE TO TAKE ACTION NOW & stop the September 21 execution by contacting the Board and district attorney.

Producer Bei Maejor debuted the music video for his J. Cole-assisted single, “Trouble”. This track comes the singer/songwriter’s untitled studio album.

Amber Rose was invited to Ghana to host their annual Vodaphone O2O Live music concert earlier this week. The 28 year-old flew out to the Motherland and took a moment to visit a small village and speak to a group of young girls at a small Islamic school. There, she talked about about Girl Power and stressed the importance of education and making the right life decisions.

Shortly after she posted the photos above of the people in the villiage, many Ghanians on Twitter did not like the fact that she focused on capturing photos of people living in poverty as opposed to those in more affluent areas:

“People have to understand that this is my first time in Africa. This is not my culture. I have never been here so if I said anything to hurt anyones feelings then I am reall really sorry. I saw that a lot of people on twitter said dont just show the poverty, show the rich people. But for me, the rich people arent doing anything for the little kids and the people that are living in poverty so I dont want to go hang out with the rich people.

I wanted to see the kids in poverty. I grew up very poor. So I wanted to go see them, help them, talk to them and inspire them to let them know they could possibly be somebody great. They can be somebody great. So I want everyone in Ghana to know that I wasnt jus saying that ‘Ghana is a poor country and no one should ever come here.’ Anyone that I have spoken to about Ghana since I have been here, I have been saying that its such an amazing place. And Im sorry for not posting pictures of rich people, but it just wasnt for me to do.”

Prison doesn’t totally suck … at least for T.I. … because TMZ has learned, sales for the rapper’s clothing line skyrocketed while he was in the pokey.

A rep for AKOO clothing tells TMZ, the company’s sales soared by 25% in the last year … while the rapper served time for drug possession.

The company rep said they hadn’t seen such a surge in popularity since T.I.’s MTV reality show “Road to Redemption” premiered in 2009.

The rep says they’re preparing for another spike in sales — when T.I. is set free next week after completing his drug sentence.

So crime does pay?
